Wedding Photography Pricing and Packages
Our wedding pricing is listed on our website as a starting point. I love to meet with my couples so that we can go over what they really want to be included in their wedding photography package.
I base the packages on the number of hours of wedding photography coverage. All of my wedding packages include engagement sessions, at no cost to the couples. I find that this really improves the wedding portraits for my couples. It’s the best way to reduce the anxiety on the big day. When you’ve already worked together, it shows in your wedding portraits — we’ve already broken the tension and you look happy and
natural, without a trace of that posed awkwardness you sometimes see in wedding pictures.
If you’re interested in rehearsal dinner coverage, weekend wedding coverage or a state-of-the-art photo booth, we can also talk about all of these. Contact me today to set up a time to talk!
Photojournalistic Wedding Photographer in Vermont
I’m not looking to recreate your great grandparents stoic wedding photographs, where if anyone moved the photograph would be ruined and unusable. I
want to create lively and fun wedding photography that you’ll be happy to share with your friends and family.
I use professional grade Canon cameras, and we always pack backup camera bodies just in case something isn’t working the way it should. I would say that I blend many styles into one.
I do not like to be intrusive and always in your face when taking your wedding photographs.
As your wedding day unfolds, I’ll use more of a candid style at the reception and more of a formal wedding style when organizing and sometimes chasing family members and wedding party to get all of the formal photographs you would like.
However, if it’s possible to do the formal family and bridal party photographs before the ceremony we highly suggest this, so we can optimize the timing of your wedding day, focusing on the couple and not the guests and family members. After all it’s your wedding day, and I’m there to capture YOUR day!
Nonetheless, I’ll make sure I get photos with your loved ones, it doesn’t have to be so staged and posed all of time. Candid photos can really show the love in those moments and real emotions that show up in a big way on your big day.
Vermont Photographer Brian Farnum of B. Farnum Photography
Hello and Welcome. I’m Brian Farnum. I am a Vermont photographer based in Shrewsbury, Vermont. After attending college for Psychology, I really found that my true passion in life is photography and art. I love the fine art works of Dali, Van Gogh and Monet. As for my photographic influences, I am moved by the works of Philippe Halsman, Richard Avedon, Annie Leibovitz and Dorothea Lange.
Being raised in Vermont, it has taught me how to work hard to achieve my goals. It’s a pretty close-knit community. You have to always be kind and friendly, and you really can’t judge a book by its cover because you never know where your next job will come from. More doors have been opened for me by someone who had greater influence that I ever thought.
If you happen to need anything for your wedding day, don’t hesitate to ask, I know a lot of wedding vendors. Before I was a photographer, I used to decorate wedding venues for a living many years ago. I’m sure I’d be able to suggest someone to help make your day effortlessly beautiful.
